I am someone who has flat-and wide-feet. It is extremely difficult to find shoes that both fit and look good at the same time. I tried some Nike shoes that seemed wide enough from pictures, but weren't. And it isn't just me who struggles with this. Flat feet are becoming increasingly more common!

If Nike doesn't start making wide width shoes soon, they will lose money. Many people that don't purchase and wear Nike don't simply because Nike doesn't have wide shoes. And it's not like you can just wear regular width shoes if you have wide feet. Wearing regular width shoes with wide feet can cause deformities in the foot. In addition, many people wear special orthotics or insoles when they have wide feet. Over time, more and more people will have wide feet, which will mean less customers for Nike.

Companies such as New Balance are gaining on them because New Balance provides wide width shoes and Nike doesn't! Acting now will preserve money in the future, and will bring more customers in!
