Reinstate dinner lady Nita O'Dell now!

The Issue

Dinner lady Nita O'Dell of Kings Heath, Birmingham was dismissed from her employment of 21 years at Billesley Primary School simply for liking a humorous post on Facebook. The post in question was of a dog wearing a burqa. She was scurrilously accused of being 'racist' even though she states she has never held any racist views and has relatives of mixed heritage. Most importantly, we need to stop tormenting ourselves with the idiocy of 'political correctness' where we have to suspend our sense of humour for fear of causing offence. This is deeply patronising to many Muslims who resent the burqa and see it as an affront to their personal liberty and their freedom to practice their religion as they see fit. Let's stop letting Islamism walk all over us and reinstate Nita in her employment and challenge the absurdity of this unfair, arbitrary and morally false decision that was made in bad faith.
