Legend of Korra was a okay show, decent at most, however the portrayal of the "Avatar" in this show was absolutely ridiculous. Korra was continuously bested in the Avatar state(a state in which a avatar is at their most powerful) by non masters and masters. The show managed to sever the whole avatar lineage and past lives in the first season, and as a Avatar alone she did not have the selflessness or other qualities of the first Avatar(Avatar Wan). While Aang wasn’t perfect, he made a great Avatar. He had very little time to master all four elements, but he managed it, defeating Fire Lord Ozai in the process. Avatar Aang's character development in "Avatar the last Airbender" was drastically better than Korra, the plot in ATLA was much more interesting as well, And the events concerning what happens to her connection with the past Avatars is unforgivable. The characters in "Legend of Korra" are not as memorable and the setting stinks as it is so repetitive, the Avatar is meant to travel the world not stay in what seems to be the animated New York City.  It Would Have Been Better If We Had Just Seen the Characters From "Avatar the Last Airbender" Grown Up Rather Than Getting Korra. As a community we believe that Legend of Korra did have its ups and downs, however the downs outweighed the ups, thus the Avatar Korra should either have a remake or we can forget she ever existed and there should be another waterbender Avatar created in her place. I believe many can agree to this as legend of Korra did not portray majority, if any, of the qualities that we all loved in the original series "Avatar the Last Airbender". Nickelodeon animation studios should revise and recreate a all time loved show and do it justice in one way or another.
