Deer culling is still the control method of choice in Home Park, despite the existence of wildlife contraception methods which are in use in parts of the USA on the deer there. 
This would be a more humane way to control deer numbers than shooting the excess deer, so we are calling on Nicholas Garbutt, the wildlife officer of Hampton Court's Home Park to obtain a special licence to implement a trial of this method of deer control.
