Whether you live or work close to a hospital or not, the ambulance sound is an omnipresent feature in London. Most times it blasts out of the blue, generating shock and confusion. The sound is so loud that you can't tell where the ambulance is coming from. You simply can't escape it. I want to ask the NHS to reconsider the decibel at which its ambulances operate.
