We as a community already know how much our GP surgeries are struggling due to the amount of patients at each surgery and the lack of funding they receive - The NHS are intending to close the department which currently takes a minimum of 2,900 samples per week - they propose that we will be able to have a blood test at our GP surgery - for those of us who do not have this facility at our doctors they propose that a test will be arranged for us at an alternative surgery - there is no way that the proposed changes will work - we must unite to try and stop this!
