We want the Moorgreen Hospital site to have more NHS services available for the benefit of people of all ages across the Eastleigh Borough and nearby residents of Southampton.
The Issue
This is important to cope with the Increasing demand on the NHS and GP services. The nearest Hospital for people in the southern part of the Eastleigh Borough is Southampton General Hospital which can take time to get to if you have to rely on public transport. Currently people in Eastleigh either can go to the Winchester Hospital or Southampton General Hospital. These hospitals are increasingly under pressure due to population growth and new housing that is planned in the local area. Traveling by car to these two hospitals has been made difficult with the increased amount of traffic on todays roads and the cost of parking in Hospital Car Parks.
