Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust are failing to provide adequate staff and care for children in there acute CAMHS wards. On one site, Prestwich Hospital… Two SIRs into the deaths of young people have identified serious observation failings. 3 young people died on one site in 9 months ! The CQC have identified safety of patients needing improvement since 2017. A surprise inspection in Sept 2021 saw failings in staffing levels and staff not dealing safe! The managers of these units get promoted and the Trust do nothing. We are seeking to apply pressure so NHS England will  undertake an immediate investigation into staffing and safety and management culture at Prestwich hospital acute units including Junction 17 and the Gardiner Unit.
