A lot of women miss out on the birth of their babies, for some women it's their first baby.This leads to serious mental health problems and trouble bonding with their baby resulting in trouble accepting motherhood and the fact their birth may not have went the way they expected. This is due to the fact the mother to be has to be numbed so not to feel any pain.. Or the birth of her child and, a large green/blue curtain or drape is also hung in front of her face blocking the moments her baby is born. This distances the mother from her baby. Although sometimes the curtain or drape is dropped it doesn't always happen or is enough not to mention pictures aren't always allowed and the mother misses out of precious memories.

In order to avoid mental health problems, trouble bonding, losing memories and a hard start to motherhood a simple thing could be put in place. The option to have a clear curtain. This won't give the surgeon or doctors extra work but, infact will give everyone peace of mind.
