This is on behalf of residents, commuters traveling to and from Rupena Agrahara from all age groups, office goers, school going children and families. It's the basic right of all the citizen to avail safe roads and footpath to cross Rupena agrahara stop. After the Electronic city flyover was constructed , BBMP or whosoever related Authority has completely ignored to the fact how the people will cross the highway with fast gushing uncontrolled heavy moving traffic at Rupen Agrahara.

No provision was provided since then for people to cross road between Rupen Agrahara bus stops.There is no other way for people to cross the highway between Rupena agrahara bus stops. Hundreds and thousands of people travel daily.With no traffic signals, people cross the the fast running cars ,BMTC buses, racing bikes from early morning hours till late night. It is terribly difficult to cross the roads. The worst being during peak hours in the late evening when vehicle lights flash on eyes making one go blind and making impossible to cross the road.

Zebra crossing with reflectors was provided but no vehicle stops nor any driver cares even on giving any hand signals by people. We have to just gush running finding empty spaces between fast moving vehicles. Past many years many accidents have been witnessed and complaints have been registered at Madiwala Police Station. Then many people have requested for better and permanent safety rules and signals at Roopena Agrahara for years now.

We can have any of those following solutions :

1. A traffic signal for vehicles to stop and pedestrians to cross the signal at intervals.
2. A traffic police 24/7 to control, by stoping the vehicles and allowing people to cross safely.
3. Constructing a skywalk (as been done opposite Forum Mall at Adugodi)
4. An underpass as provided at Stops after Bommanhalli and ahead.  So, after the  peolple who have lost their lives, now people are strongly hoping to receive a major and quick action and implementation from the respective authority and looking forward towards the safety measures for the people here with some permanent solution.                                 So Help Yourself by signing the petition and bring the problem to notice for the safety of people.
