Say no to stocking Walleye in NH

The Issue

Stocking Walleye in our lakes and ponds would negatively impact our native species here in New Hampshire. Walleye are known to prey on young Yellow Perch and Brook Trout, both native fish here. They would also be a direct competitior to Lake Trout, and Chain Pickerel, a native fish which already struggles to coexist with introduced Bass populations. Reproducing Walleye populations already exist in the Connecticut and Merrimack Rivers, where they have already impacted native populations. Please help spread this petition to prevent a potential Walleye stocking in our state!
