What is the problem?

Recently Newgrounds implemented a new rule stating that fair use would not apply to their community website, meaning creators would not be able to use free samples among other things, and upload it under their name. Many popular artists have been terminated from the website, for instance Lemkuuja, and Acid-Notation, both having been involved with a game called Geometry Dash, where their music is popularised. This new policy breaks copyright law in the United States, and other countries around the world, where stated that if a piece of copyrighted material is used in a piece of work, that doesn't take up the majority of the project, then it'll be put under fair use. It also breaks Creative Commons policies, which may also be applied to a user's work on the platform.

What is this petition for?

This petition is intended for the purpose of protecting creators on the platform, from unfair termination. We also want the website to change their stance on fair use, and how they punish creators. We also wish for the website to unban the creators who have had unjustified terminations, etc. Acid-Notation, Treepalm, and Lemkuuja, to name a few.
