The People of Newfoundland and Labrador , have a very special bond with Ireland going back hundreds of years. Now in the 21st century , the age of travel and communication, it has become more, rather than less difficult to travel between the two locations , due to a lack of non stop flights .

The distance from Newfoundland and Labrador to Ireland , is the shortest route between Europe and North America and holds a lot of potential for both Trade and Tourism especially in Newfoundland and Labrador  We have taken a backwards step since the loss of the non-stop flight in 2018. 

The time has come for all our words to be put into action.We will be presenting this document to Government officials , Airport authorities and Airlines in person, to highlight the importance of this route to the people of Newfoundland ,Labrador and Ireland .Please add your name to this petition and help ensure that this beautiful province can open its doors to the world .
