Many small businesses, specifically tradespeople within the motor industry, have been told to STOP trading as they’re not essential businesses. 

EMD Valeting is a small, independent business, along with many others, that have been told they will incur a fine if they continue to trade. As a self employed individual, the only income they get comes from working 6-7 days a week and they now cannot do that. 

The government will give 55% of earnings depending on how long you’ve been classed as self employed, how are you meant to survive on half your wage?  Or survive on none at all? 
They don’t qualify for Furlough pay and some not even grants to keep their doors open. 

Many of these people work alone or with 1 other person following COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of their customers. Some not even coming within 6 feet of anyone at all! 

If large corporations can still trade with multiple team members rubbing shoulders, why can’t small business keep going? 
We must support our small business in this trying time.
