High school students who choose to not wear uniform are reprimanded. They are sent down to the office for simply not wearing a navy blue polo or khaki pants. At Science Park, students are not even allowed to wear sweatshirts with a brand or logo, forcing them to go out of their way to purchase a new navy blue sweater, which is very difficult to find considering most sweaters have a brand or logo on them. Seniors especially, are forced to purchase a brand new wardrobe of clothing, which they will never use again. These are public high schools, not catholic schools or private schools. This is not the army or marine corps. These are students, not employees, and even then, teachers and staff do not have to wear uniform, so why should students?
