In the wake of over 20 months of live-streamed genocide, we the people are at our wits end about the cowardly inaction of the New Zealand government in the face of Israel's holocaust in Gaza.

It is widely accepted amongst the general population that what the Israeli government are conducting in Gaza is GENOCIDE. Yet our ruling bodies and mainstream media outlets refuse to recognise this fact. 

This petition is a social experiment - how many signatures from New Zealanders can we collect to say simply we agree that what Israel is doing in Gaza is WRONG. It is ILLEGAL and IMMORAL and we do not accept it. 

Those who support Palestine are painted as radical but people in opposition to Israel's actions come from all walks of life and political backgrounds. My theory is that there are even more good people who are quietly and simply horrified by this evil that has gone unchecked. 

If you are against intentionally brutalising and starving trapped children - among countless other war crimes - please sign this petition and share with like-minded family and friends. Let's demonstrate to our leaders where we stand on genocide.

The NZ government must act urgently to place sanctions on Israel, demand aid be let into Gaza, condemn the genocide and apartheid, increase funding to UNRWA and recognise Palestine as a state.
