On July 17, 1984, Angela Marie Wong 11 years old, was walking to the mall from home, and later found face down drowned in a stream with a log over her head. The case went cold for many many years.

After hard work over the next 16 years from the Nassau County Police Department on Long Island.  Manuel Pacheco, who was only 15 years old and neighbor and friend of the Wong's was arrested for the murder of Angela.  

Pacheco was convicted of murder in the 2nd degree and was sentenced to nine years to life in prison. At that time in 1984 juveniles could only be sentenced from 9 yrs to life. Laws have change over the years he would have been sentenced to 25yrs to life at this time. 

Pacheco is once again eligible for parole this January of 2021.. DIN# 04A1923

Angela has 2 brothers and 11 nephews a nieces and her mom and dad that would be in grave danger if Manal Pacheco were ever to be released.

We The Undersigned, STRONGY OPPOSE parole for Manuel Pacheco. Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at  the time of his sentencing. Life, Life, Life, Life, Life!

Pacheco was also arrested in prison on 2 other unrelated case were he was found guilty of forced rape, in California and drug charges that lead to a death of a young man. Before he was jailed..
