A Judge does not have the legal authority to decide who can and cannot present evidence in a case. He does not have the authority to make his own rules and run a courtroom any way he sees fit. This is not 1940's Nazi Germany and the Judge's last name is Heintz not Hitler. In the United States if America we have legal guidelines and specific laws and rules to make sure everyone gets a fair day in court.  On August 12, 2014 Judge Heintz violated those rules.

During the hearing regarding the dog "Lady"on Tuesday August 12, 2014, Judge Heintz would not allow Attorney Matthew Albert,  to put on a defense case. The judge would not consider the Facial Insufficiency motion and deemed Lady a dangerous dog without allowing any defense witnesses. 

Attorney Matthew Albert  asked the Judge Gene Heintz what authority he had to refuse him the right to present a defense and Judge Gene Heintz refused to answer. 

Never in the history of the practice of law has something like this happened. This is a complete miscarriage of Justice.
