Promote FDNY EMT Yadira Arroyo to Lieutenant posthumously

The Issue

The FDNY is mourning the loss of Emergency Medical Technician Yadira Arroyo, who was killed in the line of duty on the night of Thursday, March 16th, 2017.

EMT Arroyo is deserving of the promotion as she served the Fire Department and her community for 14 years, selflessly responding to emergency medical needs from her EMS Station 26 in the Bronx.  EMT Arroyo lived in the Bronx and is survived by her five sons.
