Who hasn't been in a NYCHA building? Whats NYCHA you say ? NEW YORK CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY. NYCHA is in every borough and is basically 75% of residential property in the city of New York. During my life i have visited families and friends who lived in NYCHA facilities and have always questioned why Elevators weren't working, why staircases were always dirty and messy, and WHY do they have so many workers but no work being done. In 2017 i became a resident of one of NYCHA communities & have realized how issues that i have experienced in the early 2000s still occurs now in 2021 is a little ridiculous. NYCHA has received alot of funding to not have working Elevators or working heat during a winter night. During this pandemic life has been abit chaotic and jobs were being placed on a hold and issues that become a stressing situations to many residents leading to many losing their freedom, jobs and families to make it to their homes and have to deal with some kind of outage or issue. 

This petition is for all NYCHA residences that want to see change and what to live in a more functional community in a community that is well maintained by residents and NYCHA workers.

Please fix out Elevators and our homes. We are human just like you and deserve to have a well kept community. Enough funding to start many fixing to many NYCHA communities all over New York City.
