Christopher Belter pleaded guilty to raping multiple teen girls in his New York home. He got sentenced to 8 years probation and has to register as a sex offender but that is simply not enough. He should be serving more than 15 years in prison. Him being a free man means he can do it to another girl, someone’s sister, daughter, niece, granddaughter. These women deserve justice and women everywhere need to be protected. Judge Mathew Murphy said it would be “inappropriate for him to serve jail time” what’s inappropriate is putting someone in power who abuses it and has no care for human rights. Please sign this petition for this case to reopen and put Christopher behind bars. Think about the women in your life, if they were in this situation, their predator walking free and the judge just turning their head. This rapist must be held accountable in a more appropriate way. 
Judge Mathew Murphy should also be under investigation for being unlawful and corrupt.
