The Petco store on Richmond Avenue has been here for years, the systems are old and outdated. All of the workers have been pushing for a new location for quite some time. Four years ago, the fully functioning Charleston location Petco had been remodeled instead of the Richmond Avenue one. Since then, Richmond Avenue employees have struggled to continue their jobs and love the animals they sell with systems that are barely functioning to serve the pets. The Richmond Avenue Petco was the first Petco to be opened on Staten Island on July 30th, 1996 and since then the store has not been given the renovations the pets or employees deserve. Please help us make this well overdue change for the better for our communities pets.
