On July 9, James McAllister observed another motorist throw kittens from his vehicle onto I-10 in New Orleans where they were immediately struck and killed. The witness followed the vehicles involved and reported their plate numbers to the police, but as yet the NOPD is not investigating the report. Other Louisiana police departments have made arrests in similar cases, yet even though an eyewitness was able to give them the plate numbers of the vehicles involved, the New Orleans Police Department isn't even investigating. These criminals must not be allowed to continue committing senseless acts of violence against helpless animals and must be punished. Crimes committed against animals must be taken seriously.
