On October 21st 2015, my brother Gregory Cleto Fernandez, was carelessly, selfishly and premeditatively murdered at a car wash on Valley Drive by the owners son Leo Molina! The reason my brother was murdered was because Mr Molina got mad at him for washing out the back bed of his truck, which had dog feces and mud! Mr Molina went a week before to the codes office in Las Cruces, NM and reported my brother for doing this! When told by the intake officer that it would be given to an officer to be looked into, Mr Molina told the intake officer "If it didn't get handled, he had a gun and he would take care of it"! A week later my brother lost his life by a gun at the hands of Mr Molina! Mr Molina was charged with Capital Murder and kidnapping! The reason for kidnapping? Witnesses stated that Gregory Fernandez tried to leave multiple times and Mr Molina would not allow him to leave! He instead pulled a concealed gun from behind and shot my brother 3 times; 2 of which penetrated his chest, resulting in the loss of my darling brother! For months Dona Ana County District Judge Macias has denied him a bond, well within his rights, but as of today, March 7th, Mr Molina has been given an 85000 secured bond! Which means he can now be let out to do this again, or run! Mr Molina is 57 years old! I am imploring everyone to please sign this petition to revoke a capital murderers bond, to keep our streets safe, so that no one else will suffer a loss of this magnitude again! So that my brother, his 5 children and our family can see the just we deserve! Please put yourself in our shoes, please imagine for a moment that you lost someone in this manner and what it would feel like. This car wash never had signs posted as to what you could not wash and to this day still does not! Please sign this petition.
