The animal dubbed “Axolotl” is not legal to have as a pet in New Jersey! If it is legalized to keep as a pet, dedicated pet owners can enjoy them and help boost their worldwide population! Camden Adventure Aquarium says: “Axolotls are critically endangered in the wild and near extinction. Luckily, they are easily bred in captivity.”
