Change the EZ-PASS toll violation administrative fee

Change the EZ-PASS toll violation administrative fee
The Issue
Enough is enough!
As an NJ automobile driver, one has no choice but to pay for tolls in this great state.
As of recent events, the NJ Turnpike Authority increase the amount on local toll booths and to cross the bridge into New York. Recently I received an EZ-Pass toll violation in the mail for a toll that had been paid for on the time and date indicated on the notice. Attempting to collect $ 0.50, attached is a $50 administrative fee. In my mind, I can't seem to process how a $50 charge can be attached to a $0.50 - $2.00 fee.
Let's say, for instance, I didn't have the $0.50 and went through the toll. What gives the NJ Turnpike Authority the right to charge a $50 administrative fee. If I didn't have the $0.50, what would make you think I have $50.50. I don't disagree with the administrative fee; just what justifies the $50 administrative cost? That's robbery without a gun. Especially when the roads are horrible, and the toll booths are not adequately functioning. That makes residents of this state think someone is receiving financial gains, for sure not the residents of New Jersey.
In conclusion, the administrative fee is absurd, and an increase in tolls and bridges need to be reevaluated. Just because CEO's and CFO's are money hungry doesn't mean the residents of this state should pay for it.
