Put aside your political beliefs for a moment and reflect on the heroic  efforts of ordinary people on September 11, 2001. Remember the fire fighters and police officers who climbed countless flights of stairs while carrying 100lbs of gear. Remember the maintenance workers who went office to office prying open doors with crowbars. Remember the construction crews who would not give up the search for survivors in the rubble. And remember all the ordinary citizens who helped each other in whatever way they could on that day.
