With the recent additions to the Mortal Kombat universe, including RoboCop and Fujin, I feel it is time that the full story of Johnny Cage’s dark past comes to light.

Before Johnny Cage was the famous action hero martial arts actor and the huge success he is now, he was the younger of two brothers and had just begun to embark on an acting career thanks to his older more well established brother.  As the years passed he got bigger and better roles, as did his brother. They were both hugely successful, but the issue remained, that Johnny was always the “other brother”.

After years of living in his shadow a toxic resentment began to influence his decisions.  At first it was nothing, it was a small remark to a colleague, or his brother’s lovers.  Eventually it grew into him quietly destroying him till he became the star while his brother slowly slipped into debt, B-movies, divorces and became an icon among fallen A-listers.

The issue is, all things eventually come to light, especially with the help of Shang Tsung.  This Is the story of a fallen star, the story of Nicolas Cage.
