I feel that the anime community has been blessed to have so many different kinds of anime to choose from and to have so many talented animators working so hard even during times like this. They work on so many amazing shows ranging from action, comedy, thriller, magic, and they're all amazing, and we're even more blessed to have gotten following seasons for many series, but what I've been noticing is a lack of shojo anime. But I get it, shonen and seinen just tends to appeal to more people, but that's why I think shojo needs more awareness, it deserves to be more popular, hopefully getting it more exposure could get more people to jump on the bandwagon. Shows like Ouran High School Host Club, Ao Haru Ride, Lovely Complex, Wotakoi, Kiss Him Not Me, are all amazing shows that have gotten anime adaptations but have failed to even have rumors of a season 2. There are also plenty on shojo manga, new and old, that have gotten pretty popular among manga readers which I feel like may never get an adaptation or at most will get an ova, but I get that there are some manga series that are just better staying the way they are and just wouldn't suit the anime medium, like Komi-san Is Bad at Communicating, but other series like Horimiya, Hiyokoi Last Game, High School Debut, Takane and Hana have an amazing story with enjoyable and unique characters that I doubt will receive an anime, but then again you never know. I doubt that signing this will actually give us a Tsurezure season 2 but it would be nice to know just how many people want to see amazing anime series like this to return.
