The Issue
The End Of The F***ing World is one of the best Netflix original shows on Netflix and Channel 4, all the fans (Like me), love Graham Coxon’s music in season 1 and 2. The writing is brilliant from Charlie Covell. The thoughts she puts into Alyssa and James unique love story is amazing. We love the dynamic that Alyssa and James through with each other (In season 1). All of us fans of the show think The end of the f***ing world deserves at least one more season. To give the fans more closure on James and Alyssa’s relationship after everything that’s happened with both of them from series 1 and 2.
Season 2 starts off two years later with a new character Bonnie who is out to seek revenge against James and Alyssa who killed (Clive Koch) Bonnie’s “lover”. In Episode 2 we finally see Alyssa and we catch up with James (Since the tragic events on the beach). Throughout the season we see Alyssa not really treating James well (But we see James with a lot of emotions this season). We all understand why Alyssa isn’t happy with James. Because for two years she thought James wrote that letter (That Alyssa’s mom made James write). But even after James finally admitted to Alyssa that her mom (Gwen) made him write it. She still was not treating him well. Then at the end we saw Alyssa and James being together again.
Season 3 should be about how James and Alyssa evolve more in they’re relationship. What they experience and troubles they face being together (realistically). But always coming to each other at the end and fixing they’re mistakes they make with each other. I think and a couple of my teotfw friends think a good plot twist would be is if Alyssa got accidentally pregnant by James and see some realistic drama happen from there. But it would have to be up to Charlie Covell its her writing, what she thinks is best for season 3 (If she changes her mind). The end of f***ing world deserves one more season just to give us more closure on James and Alyssa.
