STOP "Are you still there?" prompts when binge watching NETFLIX or HULU!
This petition was created in hopes of eliminating or reducing the amount of "Are you still watching?" interruptions during our binge watching sessions.
As members of many streaming subscription services, We get very annoyed when we PAY to watch things and get stopped after 2-3 episodes to ask if we are still in the room. If a subscriber is paying for a higher package through a streaming service, they should be able to at least DISABLE this feature.
There are moments, during a binge session on HULU/NETFLIX, where you can get 2 episodes through your favorite show and then it comes to a complete standstill, but then when changed to a different series, the streamer will get through twice as many episodes without any interruptions. There is NO CONSISTENCY.
With licencing conflicts being a possible issue, a standard should be set across the board. Have a CONSISTENT amount of episodes allowed to be played across the entire steaming platform WITHOUT any interruptions before having to ask if anyone is watching. Providing these alterations would make the consumer way HAPPIER with their service they pay for.
