Hello, as a teen growing up currently it’s very hard to find television shows that accurately represent what it’s like to actually be a teenager. 
The show Grand Army on Netflix after it’s first season did a pretty great job of depicting what it’s like to be a teen in our world talking about current issues of sexism in school dress codes, the pandemic that has impacted and changed almost every teenager currently, and sexual assault. With all that being said it’s important for teens to see not only things that may be happening to them but to others that they can support and be an ally or upstander for. 
Grand Army is a show that if a parent or guardian watched they may have a better idea if what’s happening in their child’s life. 
It’s also important to note the diversity on the cast. The main characters are Caribbean islanders, black, and asian. In addition teens in the LGBTQ+ figuring out about their sexual orientation identity. It’s important for teens to see teens that look like them experiencing what they experience, and for POC teens to see actors like them be being successful in entertainment.

In conclusion, grand army is a show that should continue as it’s representation for many and overall a great show!!
