With 2 million Instagram followers and 600k followers on Facebook. Not to mention the followers on other platforms, Chris D’Elia not only has a large fan base but he also has some of the most loyal followers in the world. 

However... in 2020 Chris was cancelled. No charges, no evidence, no crime. With a successful career that was on the rise and just after the birth of his son, he lost everything through these unsupported accusations.

Chris starred in the recently released Netflix movie: Army of the Dead. Although, after he was cancelled, they cancelled the movie due to his involvement. They reshot all of his scenes with a different actor (Tig Notaro) on green screen and replaced Chris. The movie was then released.

Tig did a good job but you can’t help watching this Movie and seeing that it should be Chris! Although, this petition is more important than just seeing a slightly different version of some action/zombie movie on Netflix. This is about giving an innocent man and all round decent human being, his life back. The D’Elia cut exists, it’s out there. Release it for the fans. Then who knows... people might see that it’s ok to like Chris D’Elia again. And then just maybe, he’ll get hired again and we’ll be able to see more great performances from him in the future.
