I was outraged when I watched I am Micheal, a film about an accepting gay person, and activist, who becomes a radical christian and renounces homosexuality.Although this is an film based on a true story I was outraged to see it catergorized as acceptable LGBT representation.It was extremely distressing to watch and implies that one must renounce homosexuality and thier truth self because it is seen as a “ sin” .It also shows the character resisted his feelings as they show  so-called “ temptation” I understand how it could be an interesting or entertaining movie to watch but it is honestly not an accepting film and is very hurtful to the LGBT community.
