The new Netflix series "I am a Killer: Released" covers the story of a convicted Murderer, Dale Signer, who escaped from death row and was released on parole. In this series, Sigler tells his "truth" about why he murdered his victim, John Zeltner. In his revised confession he shifts his motive from being a robbery/murder to accusing his victim, Zeltner, of attempting to "blackmail him into a homosexual relationship". This is a prime example of victim blaming on top of stating that homosexuality is a crime under God to be punished by death. This man does NOT deserve a platform to place blame and shame the LGBTQ+ community. I am petitioning for this series to be removed from Netflix as it shows dishonor and distaste to the victim, John Zeltner, to John Zeltner's family, as well as to the entire LGBTQ+ community.
