Netflix have released the trailer for their new show called Cuties which is about an 11 year old girl who becomes fascinated with a twerking dance crew and joins. Netflix describe the show as being about the girl exploring her femininity and defying her family's traditions but this goes too far. The question is, why is an 11-year olds pursuit of femininity solely linked to her sexuality - who is the target audience for this....

From the Netflix trailer, you can see this show is inappropriate in every way and we should not be normalising the sexualisation of young children on TV. This is NOT normal and it is not the first time Netflix have faced backlash for commissioning and showing inappropriate content when it comes to showing kids. 

One of my biggest passions is child protection and watching this trailer has made me feel so uncomfortable. With Paedophilia and trafficking being so prevalent, this is disturbing.  Please sign this petition and help me have this taken down.
