Netflix has recently announced they won't be continuing Altered Carbon which is extremely harrowing. It is one of the best Sci-Fi series in recent years, with a tremendously talented cast and crew, a show with amazing messages woven into the story, and a extremely supportive fan base that will push Altered Carbon to become a "cult classic."

According to Deadline Netflix's decision was made in April and comes from the streamers standard viewership vs cost renewal process. Essentially a "lack" of viewers not enough to support the cost of another season, let's prove them wrong and that Altered Carbon is worth many more seasons to explore the wonderfully created universe.

We, the people of Earth, Harland's world and beyond, call upon Netflix to please not cancel Altered Carbon and renew it at least for a season 3, or Amazon to secure the national and international rights for this show so the millions of fans can keep dreaming and enjoying what the Altered Carbon universe has to offer.

We have seen what the love and support has done to save The Expanse and Lucifer which means we can logically see that we can save the brilliant Sci-Fi series Altered Carbon, while bringing in many more viewers old and new to the show.

It would be great if Netflix rethought the cancellation and renew it since it is a Netflix original and keep a great Sci-Fi series which would keep everyone happy. I believe Netflix should also market Altered Carbon better so more people can see it and have people aware of it so they can watch it.

If Netflix steps down and refuses to continue Altered Carbon then Amazon would be a great choice as they know a thing or two about Sci-Fi (series) and they saved The Expanse which mean they can do the same for Altered Carbon.

For those who may not know Altered Carbon was created by Laeta Kalogridis based on the 2002 novel with the same name by English author Richard K. Morgan. The series plot is set in the future where consciousness is able to be transferred to different bodies called sleeves and follows former soldier Takeshi Kovacs, played by Joel Kinnaman in season 1 and Anthony Mackie in season 2.

Altered Carbon has a fascinating story to tell with many great messages and theological questions bound into the story, there is so much potential for more seasons and exploration within the universe of Altered Carbon although we could settle for a third and final season to wrap up Takeshi Kovacs, Poe and Quellcrist Falconer story arcs at least.

An Envoy takes what is offered but we will not take this offer of cancellation! After all us Envoy's control the construct, audience and fandoms have power and we will take control and take what is ours.

Due to The Expanse and Lucifer getting saved I believe we can save Altered Carbon's cortical stack back up and get it resleeved. We can do this, together!

What can you do to help? 

First of all on what you can do to help is to sign this petition, share and support it on all social media, send in emails or texts and word of mouth.

As the actual issue is with "viewership" (lack of views) I recommend watching it again, get others to watch it. So share the amazing universe of Altered Carbon on social media, to your friends, family, loved ones, co-workers and whoever will listen. We need to bump up the views on the show to help prove our point it's worth continuing on and that people will watch it and have amazing support for the show.

Use the #SaveAlteredCarbon hashtag on all your social media and keep posting about it daily or when you can, the more and continued noise we make the better.

Do let the cast, crew and writers of the fantastic show Altered Carbon (don't forget the writer of the book) know you appreciate all that they have done, that you loved their work and support it.

Do stir up noise and message Netflix and Reed Hastings (Founder/CEO of Netflix) on how you feel about their actions. Show how disappointed and  devastated you are, that you want more Altered Carbon and to repeal the decision to cancel it.
