This is Amrutha, an avid fan of the show, ‘The Office’ on Netflix. I am seeking support to sign this petition from you and the mass population by sharing the awareness that Netflix will be removing ‘The Office’ from their platform by the end of 2020. I’m sure you have a favorite scene and sentiment for this show. If not, you are missing out! 

This show has gotten me through life regardless of what phase I am going through. Whether it’s heartbreak, happiness, sadness, pandemic, breakup, death, etc., this show always brings me back to ground. Even during my loneliest days, Office would be playing in the background for noise and would make me laugh. Removing the show from Netflix would remove many fan’s sentiment they hold dearly for the characters and the show itself. No matter how old I get, Office is very close to my heart and I’m sure you can relate. After the finale episode I will just re-run it back and it feels like fresh all over again. 

On a deeper note, coming to this country as an adult, this show has provided me an avenue to understand the American culture, pop culture references, old American songs, pranks I can try to pull off, character, personality, psychology and many levels of life that I’ve never been exposed to. This show helped me understand how to feel home and safe. It would mean a lot if you can sign the petition and pass it along so we can talk to Netflix into keeping one of America’s favorite show before they remove it on Dec.31, 2021...
