It was clear to fans that Tristan Dugray was supposed to be Rory Gilmore's first real love, but the stars didn't align and Chad Michael Murray left the show to for Dawson's Creek & One Tree Hill.

Personally, we'd LOVE to see Tristan return for the revival and see where it leads. They had a great chemistry that can only get better with age...
