Recently, a cinematic masterpiece that’s based on an award winning and timeless novel has been taken off of Netflix. The Perks Of Being a Wallflower. This careless action has impacted many lives especially teenagers. The themes in this creative and foreword thinking movie connect to so many lives as it reveals the ups and downs of teenage hood. This movie tastefully illustrates scenarios and events that are common in young lives today, so it is so incredibly important that this movie can continue to touch lives as it is more than just entertainment, it is a safe and comforting piece of work where people can educate themselves and relate to the themes seen in the movie. The Perks of Being a Wallflower has been replaced by movies that are shit and no one bloody likes such as The Kissing Booth movies and To all the boys I loved before. The only reason those movies have views are because everyone is making fun of Joey kings stupid face and Noah centrifugal. Do you want to be the reason that future generations don’t know that we except the love we think we deserve? Do you want to be the reason that people will conform to enjoying bad acting because it’s the only thing on Netflix? Do you want to be the reason that young audience’s standard of love and friendship will be based off of how hunter Chen treats Ginny from Ginny and Georgia? Like many, I am absolutely ashamed and sick of movies that are trash being prioritised over such a classic, coming of age treasure. If you do not sign this petition you will be viewed on the same level as the kissing booth movies. Put an end to this hate crime as well as Joey kings acting career.
