NetEase Games: Request for Improved Management for Tom and Jerry: Chase SEA & JP Servers
The Issue
We are players of the Asia and Japan servers of Tom and Jerry: Chase, a community that has remained active and passionate for years. Many of us, myself included, have been dedicated players since 2020 spanning over six years. This game has been a constant companion through the ups and downs of my life and has helped me forge meaningful friendships along the way.
However, what was once a source of enjoyment has gradually become a frustrating experience. The Asia and JP servers have faced long-standing issues including delayed updates, missing content, poor communication and unresolved technical problems. Despite a loyal and active player base, these servers have been consistently neglected, leading to declining player experience and trust.
Due to the prolonged lack of communication, players have no clear understanding of the developers’ plans for the Asia and JP servers. With little transparency, it has become increasingly difficult for players to feel confident about the future of the game. Based on the current state of management, many players are now concerned that the servers may be at risk of shutting down at any time.
If that were to happen, we strongly urge NetEase Games to provide solutions that allow Asia and JP players to continue enjoying the game, such as access to the Chinese server, potential data transfer options and appropriate compensation.
We call on NetEase Games to take action by restoring regular updates, addressing long-standing issues, improving communication with players and providing fair support so that the Asia and JP servers can continue to grow and thrive.
Why is this important?
Signing this petition is crucial for several reasons:
-
Your signature is your voice.
This petition allows Tom and Jerry: Chase players to show they are still here and still care about the game. Whether you played casually or competitively, every signature represents a player who enjoyed the chase, the strategy and the unique fun of this game and who wants that community to be recognised. -
We are stronger together and more visible together.
One person speaking up can be ignored but a united player base cannot. Each signature not only strengthens a collective voice but also increases visibility, helping more people become aware of the issue and understand its impact. -
These aren’t just accounts, they’re memories.
For many of us, this game holds real memories, time spent playing, achievements earned and friendships formed. Signing this petition is a way of protecting those experiences from being brushed aside or forgotten. Supporting this petition is about asking for fairness and respect for that commitment, especially for those who feel left behind. -
A message that international communities matter.
Signing isn’t just about one game, it sends a message that global servers and international communities deserve equal recognition and shouldn’t be overlooked compared to Chinese versions.
Call to Action
We are asking NetEase to take this petition seriously and acknowledge the ongoing interest in Tom and Jerry: Chase, particularly within the Asia and JP community. At minimum, we urge clearer communication about the game’s future and improved support for Asia and JP servers.
Even small steps such as transparent communication, regular updates or a clearer roadmap would make a meaningful difference to players who continue to support the game.
This is not just about maintaining a game, it is about recognising a loyal community that still exists. We are asking for clarity, fairness and reassurance that Tom and Jerry: Chase is still being actively supported.
Taking action would also benefit NetEase. It would rebuild trust, strengthen its reputation in managing live-service games and show that international communities are valued. It could also re-engage former players and maintain long-term interest in the game.
Please join us in calling on NetEase Games to recognise these issues and take meaningful action. Support our cause and help restore the joy of playing by signing this petition today.
