Sexism is a major issue world wide, let alone in the UK. The things we see every day contribute to how we see the world and how we relate to it. An older generation might say it's harmless fun, but the "not for girls" coupled with anti female shape symbol as part of the package becomes part of our subconscious. This reinforces a gender barrier and implies inequality. It is sending a bad message. Tradition is important to keep, except for when it includes or relies on racism, sectarianism, or in this case, sexism.
