The once glorious Victoria Park, a haven for dog walkers and leisure seekers alike, has fallen into disarray and been plagued by a swathe of vandalism, rendering it unsafe and unusable.

The park was seemingly abandoned for the duration of COVID-19 lockdown, which allowed for the arising of several (very alarming) issues, namely:

• the theft of wooden poles 
• the theft of two gates
• the theft of fencing, nets and gates in and around the tennis courts
• the neglect of the outdoor gym and kiddie’s playground 
• the general neglected, derelict, overgrown and unmaintained nature of the park itself
• the illegal access of vandals and thugs through various holes and broken fences 

Please consider signing this petition so that NMBM and Victoria Park administration know that their park is dearly loved, and will be dearly missed if such vandalism and neglect is to continue. As we see our park slowly being torn apart, piece by piece, we have realised that we may not have a park to return to.

Through this petition, we hope that officials will be urged to make a change for the better, so that we may all enjoy this once beautiful park for years to come.
