Thanks to everyone for your support, we are now getting close to 900 signatures from the Wish park community who are concerned about the decline and safety issues. Latest updates from councillors and the council was they had started making repairs to the football pitches but nothing on the demise of the cricket square and the general deterioration of the surrounds of the park. 

Inspecting the 'work' on the football pitches it looks like they have spread seeds on bald patches, there has been no repairs that I can see. Without this work children will be without a pitch all season not the 3 months that the council promised. 

The 'Hill' that small children love running up and down is now covered in nettles and the grass in the park has not been cut for many weeks making playing any sport recreational or team almost impossible. 

We still need another 350 signatures to get the issue discussed at a council committee in November, if we don't it will just get swept under the carpet.  Please share, share, share the petition we have made great progress and we are not far away. https://chng.it/ThQp9BvD6b
