The Issue

We, the NEET MDS 2024 aspirants, are writing to express our concern regarding the qualifying marks for the NEET MDS 2024 examination. Many of us have fallen short of the initially released cutoff by just a few marks. Traditionally, the cutoff is revised after the completion of the second round of All India and state counseling. However, this year, despite the third round of state registrations being open and the provisional result of the All India third round announced, the updated cutoff marks have yet to be released.

The delay in revising the cutoff is causing significant distress, as it hampers our ability to participate in the third round of state and further rounds of All India counseling according to our preferences. We are deeply concerned that, despite being so close, we may lose an entire year due to this slight gap in marks.

We earnestly request the prompt action of ministry of health and family welfare (dental wing) in revising the qualifying marks (as the DCI has already sent mail regarding this to ministry) so that we may proceed with our applications accordingly.
