Dear Friends, Comrades & Fellow Organizers,

Obviously we were deeply saddened and disappointed with The Protect Act being vetoed and the SSCT team are not giving up!

SSCT first State-Wide Organizing Call of the 2022 legislative session on 2/5/22 at 12pm.

We will discuss actions you can take now to hold your legislators accountable to pass The Protect Act, and ways you can use your skills, and leadership abilities to help move our campaign forward! We want to hear your voice!

My invitation  to you is RSVP for the organizing call and bring 2 new people with you to the call! In order to veto proof our legislation we need to show a much larger presence at The Capitol and through our advocacy work. So one of our primary objectives will be to empower more people to engage in our campaign. We must show Governor Lamont and all of the legislature our people power!

The Covid19 outbreak is ravaging the people who are incarcerated. It is so bad that virtual visits and legal visits are suspended. How can one fight their case, get updates and stay hopeful when their life lines are being taken away from them?

22-23 hours in a cell should be illegal. Keeping them away from their legal representation is absolutely illegal.
