We demand that the State of Nebraska end academic exclusionary practices (also known as school suspensions and expulsions) for pre - kindergarten through 2nd grade students. As an alternative to suspensions and expulsions we demand that school districts implement positive, non-punitive methods of assisting students with developing self-discipline and to learn socially responsible behavior.
