Stop Credit Union’s and Bank’s from charging overdraft protection fees during Covid - 19 for Non-Essential workers that have to wait for the unemployment to go through and then transfer to their Credit Union or Bank. Also, most of us haven’t even received a Stimulus yet. Some people have transactions on autopay and can’t stop it in time to wait for their unemployment disaster relief. So we demand during this time to stop charging us in knowing we will pay if an account becomes negative once that transfer happens within a week or two. Everything is delayed as should the overdraft protection fees. Some of us are being charged $30 per transaction that an essential bank is profiting from when it adds up to hundreds of dollars which is nonessential workers could use for a bill payment. The Credit Unions and Banks can see that we are getting the unemployment disaster relief but it’s delayed. The need to credit all American’s an overdraft protection fees that were charged from March 15 - until our front doors are opened and we are allowed to go back to work and receive our first paycheck.
