Since they have built the new hwy 16 a few years back there have been multiple wrecks at the intersection of Hwy 16 and Burris Rd including many of which are fatal. Including a fatal motorcycle accident just a few months ago and one today. The main speed through the intersection is 50 mph and there are blind spots on both sides if you’re sitting at the stop signs. I believe with a traffic light this will help reduce traffic accidents and hopefully save a life. Many people dart across the intersection and never see the car that plows into them until it is too late.
