Fans of Law and Order: SVU are respectfully demanding the removal of Warren Leight from his position on this show. We have been expressing extreme concern over tone-deaf issues on the show and within his social media presence. 

Our list of concerns:
-Racial and religious issues are portrayed offensively. 
-Diversity within race, the LGBTQ+ community, etc. is lacking within the cast/characters and the writers room.
-Warren Leight actively disrespects and belittles a large majority of the fandom on Twitter.
-Warren Leight engages often with fans that have made insensitive sexual assault jokes and are racist.
-Warren Leight inspires other writers on his team to post insensitive sexual assault jokes by not being a role model or condemning this behavior.
-Trigger warnings requests for explicit episodes or triggering hate crime scenes have been denied and laughed at. (Recent example of the episode on January 6th showing gruesome, graphic Jewish hate crimes with no warning.)
-Requests to show less traumatic events for the main characters, especially Olivia Benson, have been denied. As well as requests to show PTSD and trauma healing. Shock value seems to be more important than the original purpose of this show to show the healing process from these crimes. (Recent example from tonight's episode, January 13th, showing Olivia's young son locked in a dog cage while being humiliated and recorded.)

We also request that Dick Wolf and the rest of Wolf Entertainment condemn the bullying behavior of Warren Leight on social media towards fans. We request that anyone who has allowed this behavior to keep happening be held accountable and publicly apologize.
